Each Floorboard Kit Contains:

1 ea 3/4” Long Spacer Plate with 6 holes

3 ea 3/4” OD Round Spacers

3 ea 1/2” -13 X 1 3/4” - Grade 8 Allen Head Bolts

2 ea 5/16-18 X 1 3/4” - Grade 5 Hex Head Bolts

3 ea 1/2" Split Lock Washers

2 ea 5/16” Split Lock Washers

1 ea Detailed Installation Instructions

General Details:

Locktite Medium Strength may be used

Those living in high humidity areas may use

anti-seize on the threads

You may install the new lock washers or use the original lock washers that came on your motorcycle.

Suggested Torque Values:

1/2" Grade 8 Allen Bolts - 28-32 ft. lbs

5/16” Grade 5 Hex Head Bolts - 14-19 ft lbs.

Refer to the Service Manual for the correct torque values for your motorcycle.

Specific Details:

- Spacers are made from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum

- Clear Anodized then Gloss Black Power Coated

- CNC Manufactured by an ISO-9001 Quality Certified Company

Bolt Specifications:

- Grade 8 Allen per SAE J429 - per each bolt.

Proof Load: 120,000 psi

Min Yield Strength: 130,000 psi

Min Tensile Strength: 150,000 psi

- Grade 5 Hex Head per SAE J429 - per each bolt.

Proof Load: 74,000 psi

Min Yield Strength: 92,000 psi

Min Tensile Strength: 105,000 psi

Bottom line is... you dont have to worry about these bolts breaking off.

Reduced Lean Angle:

Any floorboard extender kit will reduce the effective lean angel of the motorcycle. This can cause the floorboards to scrape in tight turns earlier than they would in the stock mounting position.
